My name is Alan Maldonado and I am photographer based in New York City. I specialize in sports and portrait photography.

For as long as I have had a camera in my hand I fell in love with the process of story telling through my work. Being able to capture meaningful moments for people is something I became obsessed with. I also love having the opportunity to stay close around things that I love, keeping basketball apart of my life has made the transition into this field worth it in so many ways. I take pride in the close relationships I have built with so many people, from athletes that I work with to the school programs that allow me to capture events for them.

My creative work ranges from photos, short or long form content with universities, leagues, athletes, influencers and other organizations.
